Bindrunes are created by merging two or more runes through a shared stroke. While they were rare in Viking Age inscriptions, they were commonly used in Protonorse inscriptions and throughout the Middle Ages.

These symbols could serve a purely decorative purpose or be used to highlight names or words, such as those of master rune carvers. However, their true power lies in their ability to amplify spells, intentions, and manifestation practices within the Elder Futhark system.

One of the most common uses of bindrunes was protection, but they were also crafted for various other purposes. The Norse engraved them on amulets, shields, and weapons to imbue them with protective energy. Today, bindrunes are used for introspection, personal growth, mental strength, spiritual connection, love, and relationships, among other intentions.
